2 PhD positions available on temporary labour migration and labour/social rights in the EU (Strasbourg, ERC project)


The European Birds of Passage project, funded by an ERC Starting Grant, is looking for 2 PhD students (3 years, fully funded, with a possible additional year, also fully funded) to join our team at the University of Strasbourg (France) and work on the relationship between temporary labour migration in Europe, labour and social rights, and the labour market.

Candidates should have a Master’s in law or in another social science with a demonstrable solid legal education. The diploma must be obtained prior to the start of the PhD (which is flexible, between 1 October 2022 and 31 December 2022).

Deadline for applications is 13 August 2022 at 11:59 PM (Paris Time). Interviews will be held digitally and in English during the week commencing on 12 September or 19 September 2022. Please note that the digital portal indicates 1 July 2022 as application deadline due to technical limitations of the portal, however applications can be submitted until 13 August 2022.
