On 16 February, the Swiss Institute for Comparative Law organizes a free Zoom webinar titled "Collective dismissals: Can the law cope?" The webinar is entirely free of charge; however, it is necessary to register in advance through a Google form on the website: collective-dismissals-event-16-february-final.pdf (isdc.ch).

Regarding the speakers, Mariya Aleksynska will discuss the socio-economic reasons for adopting collective dismissal regulation. Angelika Muller will reflect on the findings from these authors' comparative legal research on the subject. Subsequently, Sara Licci will cover the influence of EU and international law on Switzerland's collective dismissal law. Time will then be provided for a lively Q&A discussion with the speakers.

We look forward to welcoming those interested in the subject.

Mathias Wouters, on behalf of the Swiss Institute for Comparative Law
