IE University Law School is proud to announce the inaugural event of the Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence for Law and Automation (“Lawtomation JMCoE”). To launch the activities of the Centre, a multidisciplinary conference will be held on 29 and 30 September 2022. Its aim is to explore the relationship between law and automation and the impact of algorithms and AI on constitutional values, human rights, human resources management practices and legal remedies.

The two-day conference will take place in a face-to-face format at the IE Tower in Madrid, Spain. Inspiring talks given by keynote speakers will be followed by roundtables and thematic sessions (public law, private law, law and tech, labour law, among others) and social events.
